After leading Valencia to the Copa Del Rey, the club's board have denied all rumours that Dutch boss Ronald Koeman could soon be leaving the club. There were rumours of a £5 million compensation pay off to see Koeman out through the exit door.
A statement on Valencia's site read: "Valencia CF wishes to clarify, in light of various rumours that have emerged over the last few days, that the coach of the first team is Ronald Koeman, who has a contract for this season and two more, and that in no case have [the club] raised the idea of hiring another coach, let alone have we signed a contract with another coach or negotiated with one."
