Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has provided an injury update on two players ahead of the Champions League final against Manchester City.
The Blues ended their league campaign with a 2-1 defeat against Aston Villa, but they still qualified for the Champions League.
Ahead of the Cityzens clash, Tuchel was asked by the media about the fitness of midfielder N'Golo Kante and goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.
The German confirmed that Kante would return to training on Wednesday, and he is likely to start against the Cityzens.
Meanwhile, he was hopeful that Mendy would also recover from a rib injury to report for the training session ahead of the final.
Mendy sustained the problem against the Villans, and he was replaced by Kepa Arrizabalaga midway through the contest.
Tuchel said that the Senegal international would be offered plenty of chances to prove his fitness ahead of Saturday's encounter.
The Blues have beaten the Cityzens twice over the past six weeks, but they are still considered the underdogs for the final.
