Arsenal and Aston Villa could land the signature of Emiliano Buendia for around £30 million during this summer's transfer window.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • The Argentine had a superb season with Norwich City, registering 15 goals and 17 assists from 39 Championship appearances.

The Canaries will be playing Premier League football next season, but Buendia could be plying his trade elsewhere.

Both the Gunners and Villa are interested in the 24-year-old, who could be available for £30m, according to Football Insider.

Villa have already opened talks with the Canaries, but they are expected to face stiff competition from Mikel Arteta's side.

The Gunners attempted to sign Buendia in January, but the Canaries refused to consider his departure with promotion on the line.

Buendia is understood to favour a move to the Emirates Stadium, and the Gunners could be considered favourites to sign him.

Buendia recently earned his maiden call-up with Argentina, and he could make his debut in the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
