Quincy Owusu-Abeyie has joined Celta Vigo on loan. Birmingham City had expressed an interest in the Dutch striker 2 weeks ago, but the player has decided to join Celta on loan with a view to a permanent deal.
The player joined Spartak for £1.45m in January 2006 and the Russian club value the player at around £3m if he joins the Spanish club on a full time basis.
