Timo Werner is open to leaving Chelsea if they land a new striker this summer, 90min reports.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • The German bagged 12 goals and 15 assists for the Blues in his debut season, but it was still an average campaign for him.

He arrived with a big reputation, but struggled over the course of the campaign, missing out on multiple scoring chances.

According to 90min, the Blues are actively searching for an elite striker with Erling Braut Haaland reportedly the top target.

In case they succeed in their pursuit, there are suggestions that Werner could push for a new challenge away from the club.

Werner believes that his game time would be limited with the arrival of another striker. He is already considering his options.

Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain are keeping a close eye on the forward's situation. Bayern Munich are also huge admirers of him.

Werner is reportedly open to the prospect of returning to Germany in case he decides to leave the European champions this summer.
