Tottenham chase Diaz

Tottenham chase Diaz

22 April 2008 - 11:03

Getafe defender Daniel Diaz has revealed that Tottenham are amongst a list of potential suitors interested in signing him. The player has been in good form in La Liga this year and Juande Ramos has turned his attentions to signing him.

  • Arsenal handed injury boost on defender ahead of Bournemouth clash
  • Chelsea planning shock move for Man City winger?

  • Diaz is valued at around £3 million as the club look set to offload Younes Kaboul; and Spurs are keen on signing a replacement for Jonathan Woodgate and Ledley King should either get injured.

The 29 year old has a lot of experience and has appeared for his national team, Argentina.

"I am comfortable at Getafe, but you always want to improve as a player so I hope I will be given the chance," Diaz is reported as saying. "I know that Tottenham have asked for me and there are other foreign clubs interested but this depends on many things, so I will not get carried away."
