Derby County's striker Craig Fagan has been banned for four matches for stamping on Liverpool defender Alvaro Arbeloa. Fagan had initially appealed against his ban.
Fagan was found guilty by an independent commission on Thursday and given an automatic three-match ban, with an additional game for making what was considered a frivolous appeal.
In the game which Liverpool won 6-0, referee Alan Wiley actually failed to see the incident therefore did not send off the player.
