Koeman proud of his efforts

Dutch coach Ronald Koeman has insisted he is proud of what he achieved at Valencia after the coach was relieved of his duties at the club today. Koeman had helped Valencia to a Copa Del Rey victory.

However, a 5-1 defeat to Athletic Bilbao seemed to be the final nail in the coffin for Koeman yesterday.



"I am going, proud of having won a title as important as the Copa del Rey and want to point out I have gained an experience but have lost something I was very enthusiastic about," Koeman said.
