Chelsea have suffered a double injury blow in their ongoing Champions League clash against Malmo at Stamford Bridge.
Romelu Lukaku was forced off the pitch after just 20 minutes. He suffered an injury while winning a penalty for the Blues.
Towards the end of the half, Timo Werner was also brought off with a hamstring issue. The Blues are currently leading 2-0.
Werner and Lukaku have been the front duo for manager Thomas Tuchel in recent games, and their injuries could prove a big blow.
The former needed to be assisted off the field with his concern, and it appears that he could be sidelined for an extended period of time.
The Blues have a favourable schedule on paper, but the absence of the duo could have an impact on their performances going forward.
Chelsea are due to face Norwich City, Southampton (League Cup fourth round), Newcastle United and Burnley before the next international break.
They may have to deal without both of their strikers for the run.
