Manchester United are reportedly keeping tabs on Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni with a view to a future transfer.
The Red Devils are uncertain over the future of Paul Pogba, and he could leave them when his contract expires next summer.
They are already lining up potential replacements, and Football Insider claims that Tchouameni is at the top of their wishlist.
The Frenchman has already been linked with a move to the Premier League. Chelsea are also said to be huge admirers of his services.
United are keen to jump ahead of the Blues in the player's pursuit, and will be keeping a close eye on him over the coming months.
Neither of them are likely to make a January approach for the midfielder, and it remains to be seen whether they are beaten to his services.
Juventus are also keen to get their hands on the midfield enforcer. It has been claimed that they could push for a transfer this winter.
