Chelsea are willing to negotiate a swap deal with Barcelona for Christian Pulisic if Frenkie de Jong heads in the opposite direction.
Pulisic has struggled with numerous injuries during his time with the Blues, and he is no longer an assured starter under Thomas Tuchel.
This has led to speculation that he could move on, and Marca claims that Barcelona are keen on luring him to the Camp Nou next year.
The Catalan giants are not in a strong financial situation at the moment, and they are unlikely to afford the Blues' £42 million price tag.
Instead, they are willing to discuss a swap deal. The Blues are prepared to accept the proposal if they can secure De Jong's signature.
De Jong has been a key player in the centre of the park for the Blaugrana, but his future has come on the radar over the past few months.
The club need to reduce their excess wage bill of nearly €300m, and this could pave the way for several high-profile exits next year.
