Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that Romelu Lukaku will be involved in the matchday squad against Tottenham Hotspur.
The Belgium international was recently dropped for the Liverpool game following an explosive interview with Sky Sport Italy.
The striker had said that he was not pleased with Tuchel's system while citing that he would welcome a return to Inter at some stage.
This did not go well with Tuchel or the players, and he was axed from the squad for the 2-2 Premier League draw against the Reds at home.
Ahead of the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final against Spurs, Tuchel has confirmed that Lukaku will return after apologising to his teammates.
It is still unclear whether he will make the starting line-up. Kai Havertz was backed to lead the line in the recent meeting against the Reds.
Tuchel is likely to make a few changes against Spurs. The first leg of the League Cup semi-final will be played tomorrow at Stamford Bridge.
