Manchester United are reportedly deemed favourites to sign Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara in the summer.
The Frenchman has entered the final six months of his contract, and he is free to negotiate terms with foreign clubs.
United are one of the teams interested, and Marca claims that they are best placed to sign him on a free transfer.
Les Phoceens are ready to sell him for around €10m this month, but United prefer to negotiate a pre-contract instead.
Kamara has been one of Marseille\'s most consistent players. He can play in both defensive midfield and central defence.
Atletico Madrid have also been linked with him in recent days, but they are unlikely to meet the French club\'s valuation.
They recently made a bid of around €5m that was snubbed by the Ligue 1 outfit. Kamara could now run down his deal.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils are unlikely to make any signings this month despite the constant speculation involving multiple midfielders.
