Manchester United defender Phil Jones is attracting serious interest from Bordeaux ahead of the transfer deadline.
The centre-back recently made his first appearance for United in 708 days, but he could leave before the end of the month.
He is presently the fifth-choice centre-back behind Harry Maguire, Raphael Varane, Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly.
It is quite clear that he may not play again this season, and L'Equipe claims that Bordeaux are looking to land his services.
The club recently axed Laurent Koscielny for his poor displays, and they are eyeing another experienced centre-back.
Jones could be offered the opportunity to revive his flagging career. It is unclear whether United will listen to offers.
Bordeaux are likely to propose a loan deal for the England international, who still has 17 months left on his current contract.
There is also an option to extend for another 12 months. It remains to be seen whether the Ligue 1 outfit can land his services.
