Manchester United midfielder open to new deal?

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is showing signs that he could sign a new contract, The Sun reports.

  • Man Utd star preparing farewell video ahead of transfer
  • Chelsea winger suffers head injury vs Nottingham Forest

  • The 28-year-old has experienced a mixed campaign with the Red Devils, having missed three months with a thigh injury.

Despite this, he has accumulated one goal and seven assists. His performances have been impressive since his comeback this month.

There has been much talk about him leaving on a free transfer this summer with interest from Real Madrid, PSG and Juventus.

However, it appears the midfielder has not ruled out staying with the Red Devils, and is showing positive signs towards a new deal.

Pogba is currently on wages of around £250,000-a-week. The hierarchy are willing to offer him around £400,000-a-week to extend.

That would make him the second highest earner in the Premier League behind only Cristiano Ronaldo, who earns £480,000 weekly.

It remains to be seen whether the club can finalise a renewal in the next four months.
