Birmingham earned a useful 2-2 draw to remain 18th in the Premiership as the battle for top flight survival really heats up with only two games left. Birmingham, Fulham, Reading and Bolton are all still threatened with the drop.
It all looked so comfortable for Birmingham heading into half time, as Mikael Forssell stepped up to convert a great goal on 34 minutes. Forssell converted a great James McFadden cross.
Into the second half and former Arsenal midfielder Sebastian Larsson made it 2-0 from a great free kick and got the Blues flying as it looked like they would secure a valuable three points.
However, the Reds creeped back into the game as the impressive Jermaine Pennant skipped past three to put Voronin in, who sent the ball across for Peter Crouch to shoot home.
Yossi Benayoun added an equaliser late on as he shot home and the balled deflected off of Radhi Jaidi.
The result puts Birmingham in even more trouble as they threw away three points they should've secured.
