Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips is set to snub Manchester United to sign a new long-term contract, The Sun reports.
The England star was recently out with a long-term hamstring injury, but he is still considered as one of the best defensive midfielders in the country.
Ahead of the summer, the Red Devils have been linked with a summer move for the 26-year-old, but they appear set to face disappointment.
According to The Sun, Phillips is determined to continue with his boyhood club and is eyeing a significant raise on his £38,000-a-week wages.
The Whites have yet to discuss contract terms, but there is optimism that a renewal will be agreed with manager Jesse Marsch pleased with him.
Leeds were in a genuine relegation battle until Marsch replaced Marcelo Bielsa. A run of 10 points from four games has pulled them clear.
They are currently nine points adrift of the drop zone, and should be safe with another victory in their remaining six games of the season.
