The Frenchman has been with the Bianconeri for the past three years, but he has now opted to pursue a new club.

It has been suggested that he could prefer a move to the Premier League and it appears United are serious about him.

The Red Devils are long-term admirers of Rabiot, and have been linked with him over the past few summers.

It is hard to believe the transfer story at the moment, but United could be tempted to sign him due to the low fee.

With his contract expiring in 12 months, the Bianconeri are prepared to offload him for a package between €15-20m.

United are in the running to sign him, but they are set to face competition from the likes of Chelsea and Newcastle.

Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with his services. They may attempt to re-sign him despite his ill-fated exit.
