Manchester United need to pay around €80m to sign Ajax winger Antony during this summer's transfer window.
The Red Devils are eager to bolster their attack ahead of next season, and they are eyeing a more versatile forward.
Antony has emerged as a top target, but a transfer won't be straightforward with the hefty valuation set by Ajax.
The Brazilian is said to be keen on a reunion with manager Erik ten Hag, but United will need to pay a premium fee.
According to De Telegraaf, Ajax want to keep hold of Antony, and will only sanction his sale for a fee of €80 million.
United are reluctant to meet the valuation at the current point of time. Their latest verbal offer stands at around €60m.
Antony is presently recovering from an ankle injury, but he is expected to be fit in time for the new Eredivisie campaign.
As things stand, he may have to continue with the Dutch champions unless United are willing to make a better proposal.
