Torres: Liverpool for life

Torres: Liverpool for life

01 May 2008 - 22:39

Fernando Torres hopes that he will remain a Liverpool player for life. The Spanish striker has been moved with a link away from the club over the past few weeks, and was gutted that his club were knocked out of the Champions League by Liverpool.

  • Chelsea have held talks for Ayyoub Bouaddi
  • Chelsea want Newcastle star to replace Cucurella?

  • "I hope so," Torres told LFC TV. "I feel very confident here, and if we can win trophies, then much better. This is my team, my city and Anfield is my pitch. I feel very good.

“I think they love me and I love them. It's great when kids and their granddads come up to me in the street and say 'you're the best'. I want everyone to remember me in 20 years' time."
