Another Honduran for Wigan

Another Honduran for Wigan

01 May 2008 - 22:42

Steve Bruce has admitted that Wigan are likely to make a move for a third Honduran player in the transfer window and that the club's scouts were already monitoring another player, believed to be Hendry Thomas.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • "John Benson is in Honduras at the moment trying to tie someone else up for us," boss Steve Bruce told the Wigan Observer. "We've got an iron in the fire. We're also trying to do a permanent deal for Figueroa."

The 23 year old defensive midfielder has over 13 caps for his country and plays for Olimpia.
