Manchester United could be without the services of Harry Maguire for this weekend's Manchester derby on the road.
The England international sustained a hamstring injury during the Three Lions' 3-3 draw against Germany in the Nations League this week.
The centre-back was able to carry on playing despite the setback, but now appears a major doubt for the Red Devils' trip to the Etihad Stadium.
Maguire has lost his starting spot to Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez this term, but he continues to remain a key player for Erik ten Hag.
His unavailability could be a big blow for United going forward. They have as many as nine games during October plus another four in November.
Ten Hag will want to rotate his squad regularly to avoid injuries. Maguire's potential absence has probably come at the wrong time for United.
The Red Devils will be aiming for a fifth straight Premier League win when they take on Manchester City away from home on Sunday afternoon.
