Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Anthony Martial could be available against Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon.
The Frenchman has had an injury-plagued season so far and he has made just four appearances across all competitions.
Despite his limited game time, he has made a huge impact with three goals and two assists and looks to be in fine touch.
If Martial is deemed fit for the Magpies clash, it is most likely that he will feature on the bench rather than the starting XI.
Ten Hag previously waited two games before handing a start to Martial and he could be more cautious this time around.
Martial's fitness has been a cause for concern with the added intensity and he could be limited to cameo roles for the time being.
United have the chance to push for a top four spot on Sunday afternoon. They are currently just one point behind the final Champions League place.
