Manchester United are determined to extend the contract of Marcus Rashford before the transfer window reopens.
The England star had a poor 2021/22 season with the Red Devils where he made just seven goal contributions from 32 games.
However, the 25-year-old has changed his fortunes this campaign under Erik ten Hag. He has 10 goal contributions from just 15 appearances.
According to The Mail, United are now determined to prolong Rashford's stay and could open contract talks in the near future.
With his current contract expiring next summer, the club may initially trigger the 12-month extension clause before discussing a fresh deal.
Rashford has not played for England this year so far but he should be a strong candidate to make the World Cup squad later this month.
If he were to travel with the Three Lions to Qatar, there is a high possibility that United may need to wait until January to negotiate a renewal.
Paris Saint-Germain are currently keeping tabs on his position.
