Chelsea have already agreed the transfer of RB Leipzig star Christopher Nkunku, according to L'Equipe.
The Frenchman is currently out injured for a number of weeks and he may not return to action until February next year.
Amidst this, it is reported that the Blues have already agreed a deal with Leipzig. They will sign Nkunku in the summer.
Nkunku had a medical with the Blues in September and reports claim that he will formally join them from next season.
Chelsea have the option of signing him in advance for a higher fee, but that appears unlikely after his latest injury blow.
The 25-year-old had to withdraw from France's World Cup squad as a result. He will be a big loss for Didier Deschamps.
Nkunku currently has a release clause of £52m that becomes active in June 2023. Chelsea plan to pay a similar sum.
Instead of activating the buy-out clause, they are expected to pay the same transfer fee over a number of campaigns.
