Chelsea are reportedly front-runners to land RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol at the end of the campaign.
The Blues have been long-term admirers of the Croatian centre-back and they attempted to sign him in the last transfer window.
They wanted to negotiate a deal for the summer of 2023, but Leipzig made it clear that they did not want to sell the defender.
Gvardiol has since signed a new long-term contract, but Calciomercato claim that the Blues are still favourites to land him.
The west London giants recently sold Timo Werner back to Leipzig, and it is claimed that they could benefit from the same.
The club have been building a close bond with the German outfit and they could secure a double deal at the end of the season.
Talks are already underway to sign Christopher Nkunku and it is claimed that the Blues could discuss a deal for Gvardiol too.
While Nkunku could cost around £60 million, it may take more than £80m to prise away Gvardiol from the Bundesliga giants.
