Bayern Munich chief executive Oliver Kahn has dismissed the possibility of signing former Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Portuguese is currently a free-agent following his release from the Red Devils. Bayern have been linked with him lately, but Kahn has now ruled out a move.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, Kahn said that Bayern have plenty of respect for Ronaldo, but the club have a different policy and won't be signing the 37-year-old.
He said: "I can rule out a move for Ronaldo. We've considered it, we all love Ronaldo but the strategy is different."We've a clear idea, philosophy of how our squad should be put together."
Ronaldo was eager to leave United last summer to play Champions League football, but he was denied the opportunity to head for the exit door.
He has now forced himself out after the disrespectful comments towards Erik ten Hag and will be hoping to find another European club in January.
