Guardiola lining up targets

07 May 2008 - 16:02

There are rumours that Barcelona legend Josep Guardiola is being lined up to replace Frank Rijkaard at the Catalan giants; and the current 'B' team boss has already set his list of targets.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • Valdés, Milito, Márquez, Puyol, Xavi, Iniesta, Zambrotta, Sylvinho, Messi, Abidal, Bojan, Eto’o and Deco are the players Guardiola wishes to keep hold of, but Joan Laporta has already received a list of targets that the Spaniard wants to see at the club from next year.

Víctor Sánchez, Abraham, Jeffren and Pedrito are all expected to be promoted from the 'B' team into the first team.

It is believed that Guardiola is keen on landing Guiza from Mallorca and Maxi Rodriguez from Atletico Madrid as part of his spending spree.
