Manchester United are reportedly prepared to make an approach for Bayer Leverkusen defender Jeremie Frimpong in January.
The Red Devils have relied on Diogo Dalot as the right-back for most of the campaign and they are keen to add more competition.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka will be either sold or loaned out in January and it is claimed that Frimpong is the top target to replace him.
Frimpong has been a revelation for Leverkusen this campaign. He has amassed five goals and three assists from just 21 outings for them.
His form has caught the eye of the Red Devils and Fabrizio Romano claims that United want to sign him at the beginning of the year.
Leverkusen are unlikely to sell him on the cheap and it is claimed that it would take at least €25m to land his services this winter.
Frimpong is said to be excited by the prospect of playing in the Premier League and United are apparently his preferred club.
