Bilal El Khannouss is a target for Manchester United, after the club deployed their head scout to monitor the Genk starlet in action. The 18-year-old midfielder, who was a member of Morocco's World Cup 2022 squad in Qatar, is valued by Racing Genk at around 17.5 million euros, and is likely to be a target for many top European clubs this January.
Erik Ten Hag wants to bring in the youngster as he revamps his squad. The former Ajax manager has been active in the transfer market, bringing in familiar faces from his former club, but also allowing Cristiano Ronaldo to leave Old Trafford on a free transfer.
The potential arrival Bilal El Khannouss is a signal that Ten Hag wants to sign top youth prospects as well, and the Moroccan international has only recently made his debut for Genk, just last year. Before joining Genk, the midfielder emerged through Belgian club Anderlecht's youth setup.
It is understood that Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund have also been monitoring the progress of the youngster, whose preferred position is as a central attacking midfielder.
