Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford could leave the club in the summer amid the new wage policy.
The Red Devils have recently introduced the Ronaldo rule whereby no player will earn more than £200,000-a-week.
As a result, David de Gea has been asked to accept a pay-cut to renew, but this could impact the future of Rashford too.
The club graduate is currently earning £200,000 weekly and seems unlikely to sign a new long-term deal on same wages.
This could pave the way for his departure in the summer when he will enter the final year of his contract with the Red Devils.
United have no plans to sell him at the moment, but are likely to demand around £80m if they consider his exit in July.
Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are among clubs interested in landing the 25-year-old, who has been superb this term.
Rashford has bagged 13 goals and six assists for United this campaign. He has been transformed under manager Erik ten Hag.
