Chelsea have reportedly failed with a loan approach for West Ham United forward Michail Antonio.
The Blues have already bolstered their attack with Joao Felix, David Fofana and Mykhaylo Mudryk this month.
They are aiming to add another striker to the squad and The Guardian report that they have failed to pursue Antonio.
The 32-year-old has been a regular on the bench for the Hammers this term and he is said to be eyeing a fresh move.
The Hammers have now received a lucrative loan package from Chelsea, but they don't want to lose him at the moment.
Hence, the Blues may have to look elsewhere for another striker. They could revive their interest in Barcelona's Memphis.
The Dutchman was on their radar in the summer before he decided to stay. He is now open to securing a fresh challenge.
Memphis has entered the final six months of his deal, but the Catalans are open to loaning him out if his wages are fully paid.
