Berlusconi quits AC Milan

Silvio Berlusconi has been forced to relinquish his post as the president of AC Milan with immediate effect after the Italian billionaire secured a third consecutive post as the president of Italy.

  • It is believed that Berlusconi will be handing over control of Milan to Vice-president Adriano Galliani.



    The president has been inspirational in his time to helping AC Milan to Champions League glory, and has reportedly revealed he has no intentions of selling the club despite losing control of the club.



    According to Italian law, Berlusconi was forced to give up control of the San Siro giants.



    72 year old Berlusconi was sworn in as Italy's 62nd post war government on Thursday.
