Italian international midfielder Gennaro Ivan Gattuso has moved a step closer to joining Bayern Munich, according to reports emanating from Germany on Friday morning. The AC Milan player is heading for the exit door after the arrival of Mathieu Flamini from Arsenal.
Bayern Munich are believed to be prepared to pay up to 15 million EUR to land the player this summer, and fellow Italian Luca Toni has recommended the Bundesliga and Bayern highly to Gattuso.
According to Italy's Italia 1 television the Italian has been offered a lucrative contract to join the Bundesliga giants, around 100,000 EUR per week.
