Grant feels the pressure

Grant feels the pressure

10 May 2008 - 00:18

Avram Grant is clearly feeling the pressure. Ahead of Chelsea's crunch match with Bolton at the weekend; the Israeli is reflecting on a campaign that has been mixed. The Chelsea boss believes that if the club fail to win the league, there was one decision over eight months ago that could cost the title.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Grant is referring to the sending off of Mikel John Obi at Old Trafford when Man Utd won 2-0.

"I don't want to come back to this, but I think what the referee did in this game, I never saw in my life,'' Grant said Friday. "And I see sometimes bad decisions.

"This was one of my worst moments, if I can say that about Old Trafford.

"To come to a game in which I didn't have time to influence the team. I was in charge, but I was an observer of the team.

"Alex (Ferguson) said two or three months ago that this is the best Manchester United team since he was coach.

If they take the championship, which I'm not sure, it will be on goal difference, so we have given them a good battle.''
