Manchester United have been handed a big boost with Barcelona set to be without Pedri and Gavi for the Europa League clash at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils played out a thrilling 2-2 draw against the Blaugrana in the first leg of the knockout play-off round on Thursday.
They will entertain the Catalan giants in the return leg in seven days' time and ahead of the game, they have received a huge boost.
Pedri suffered an injury in the opening half and the Spanish sensation is unlikely to be fit for the reverse meeting in Manchester.
Gavi is also expected to be sidelined for the European clash. He is suspended for the encounter after reaching the yellow card limit.
The youngster picked up his third yellow card of the European campaign and he is therefore suspended for the second leg versus United.
The Red Devils should go into the game as slight favourites on the back of an impressive and dominating performance at the Camp Nou.
