Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Anthony Martial won't be available for the Carabao Cup final.
The Red Devils face Newcastle United at the Wembley Stadium on Sunday where they will be aiming to end their six-year trophy drought.
Ahead of the game, Ten Hag has revealed that there is no positive news on Martial despite his return to individual training.
Martial has been out with five separate injuries this term and the Dutchman is wary of rushing him back to first-team action.
Hence, the Frenchman won't play any part in the Wembley showdown and Ten Hag will have to rely on his remaining options.
Marcus Rashford has led the line over the past few games, but the England star is also doubtful after an apparent foot problem.
Wout Weghorst seems likely to start as the main striker if Rashford is not deemed fit to make the starting line-up this weekend.
United will start the final against Newcastle as overwhelming favourites.
