There have been reports early on Saturday morning that Frank Lampard's contract talks with Chelsea have yet again stalled. Lampard has reportedly rejected Chelsea's final offer of £110,000 a week.
With Barcelona and Real Madrid both rumoured to be long-term admirers of Lampard - who has only one year left on his contract - Chelsea were very keen to tie the England midfielder to a new deal.
Lampard's girlfriend Elen Rives has supposedly always hinted that her man could make the move to La Liga in the future; and with the reports that Lampard's contract discussions have fallen through, this is becoming a possibility.
Chelsea have reportedly refused to pay Lampard's demands, which could be as much as £150,000 a week.
