Arsenal are reportedly confident of landing West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice during the summer transfer window.
The England international has spent his entire playing career with the Hammers but he is keen to pursue a bigger challenge this summer.
The Gunners are one of his main admirers and Ben Jacobs claims that they are growing confident of landing him for a club-record fee.
Rice will enter the final two years of his Hammers deal in July and the Gunners hope to prise him away for around £75 million.
Chelsea and Manchester United are also in the mix for the 24-year-old but the Gunners are positive that they will beat the competition.
The Gunners have been outstanding in the Premier League thus far and they are presently top of the league with a five-point lead over Man City.
The club have the opportunity to go eight points clear when they entertain Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
