Arsenal are reportedly keen on landing the services of Real Madrid attacker Brahim Diaz this summer.
The Spaniard is currently on a two-year loan deal with the Rossoneri, but they don't plan to trigger the €22m buy clause.
The Milan side are eyeing a discount on the price and this could benefit the Gunners, who plan to open talks with Madrid.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Mikel Arteta has his sights on a reunion with Diaz following their time together at Man City.
Arteta was the assistant manager of the Premier League holders when Diaz was coming through the ranks as a hot prospect.
Diaz has not developed into an elite performer but Arteta seems nonetheless determined to bring him to the Emirates Stadium.
The 23-year-old can play anywhere in attack. He still has plenty of potential and Arteta will be hoping to get the best out of him.
Arsena may have to pay a similar fee of around €22m to land him.
