Arsenal plan to make a fresh approach to sign Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo this summer.
The north London giants were determined to land the Ecuadorian in January but Brighton were adamant that he was not for sale.
Their £70m bid was immediately snubbed by the Seagulls and the midfielder has since signed a new long-term contract at the club.
Despite this, it is reported that the Gunners have not given up on Caicedo and they are ready to make a fresh transfer approach soon.
It is added that they could pay a higher fee in the region of £80m for the Ecuadorian star, who has been likened to N'Golo Kante.
Aside from the Gunners, Chelsea are also keen on landing the highly-rated youngster, who handed in a transfer request in late January.
Manchester United are another club that hold a long-term interest but they may not enter the race after the big investment on Casemiro last year.
