Chelsea are ready to part ways with Romelu Lukaku to sign Atletico Madrid star Joao Felix on a permanent basis.
The Belgian joined Inter Milan on loan at the start of the campaign but he has struggled to make a significant impact.
Amid injuries, Lukaku has netted just seven goals and the Nerazzurri have no plans of re-signing him in the summer.
Hence, he will return to the Blues and Calciomercatoweb cite that he could be used as part of the deal to land Felix.
Felix is currently valued at €80 million by Atletico Madrid but Chelsea plan to lower the final price by including Lukaku.
Lukaku has been on the radar of Atletico manager Diego Simeone since his time with Everton in the Premier League.
He could finally play under the Argentine tactician but whether Atletico accept the proposal remains to be seen.
Chelsea want a 50 per cent discount on Felix if Lukaku moves the other way. Atletico could ask for a higher sum.
