Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is confident of landing West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice during the summer transfer window.
The Gunners recently booked their spot in the Champions League after six years and this will boost their summer spending.
A number of marquee players could be signed and Rice is one of the top most targets for Arteta ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Arteta is keen on landing a quality midfielder who can play in the number six and number eight roles. Rice is deemed the perfect fit.
The Gunners boss is convinced that he can lure the 24-year-old to the Emirates Stadium amid Arsenal's exceptional progress.
West Ham United have not set an asking price for their captain but they are expected to do so at the end of the ongoing campaign.
Regardless of their league status, Rice is expected to move on. He has no plans to extend his deal expiring in the summer of 2024.
