Man City want Ancelotti?

11 May 2008 - 23:50

Thaksin Shinawatra may be ready to sack Sven-Goran Eriksson and replace him with AC Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti, if rumours emanating from Italy are proven to be true.

  • Chelsea defender on his way to Leeds United?
  • Chelsea ready to hand Nicolas Jackson fresh chance
  • Ancelotti has reportedly lost the boardroom's faith at Milan this season, and things went from bad to worse for the Italian coach on Sunday as Milan dropped out of a Champions League qualification place.

Meanwhile, Thaksin Shinawatra is reportedly unhappy with the progress of Man City this season and Sven-Goran Eriksson could be given the chop.

Jose Mourinho is believed to be on the shortlist of AC Milan directors to replace Ancelotti if the final finish to the season fails to meet their high expectations.
