The west London giants recently suffered a huge setback with Wesley Fofana picking up a serious knee injury.

The Frenchman had an injury-plagued debut season. He is back on the sidelines with another big blow.

Fofana could be out of action for upto eight months, and the Blues are now looking to add quality cover.

According to Calciomercato, the Blues are preparing to enter talks with the Bianconeri regarding Bremer.

Bremer has been put up for sale by the Bianconeri for around €50m, but the Blues could land him for less.

Juventus are currently keen on landing Romelu Lukaku for €40m once Dusan Vlahovic is sold by them.

If Vlahovic heads for the exit door, Chelsea could get Bremer on the cheap with Lukaku acting as a makeweight.

Otherwise, they may need to pay the transfer fee in full. Bremer would be a fantastic acquisition for the Blues.
