Blackburn boss Mark Hughes is reportedly in Spain monitoring several transfer targets for next season. Hughes has been monitoring Espanyol and is reportedly interested in Dani Jarque.
"The process starts almost as soon as the window shuts, you get over one window and you plan for the next one, that is how it is," Hughes told the club's website.
"You've got to take opportunities to look at players if you can and that is what I've been able to do this week.
"I'm hopeful of getting some good quality into the squad, I hope to spend the money that I get well. We've been able to do that in recent times and if we continue in that vein then we'll add quality to the quality in the squad that we already have."
