The club have also finalised the formalities to land Hojlund. He signed the paperwork yesterday, and looks set to be unveiled tomorrow.
United are scheduled to host Lens in a friendly at Old Trafford, and Hojlund is expected to be presented to the fans at the stadium.
The Dane has not trained with the team yet, but it is anticipated that he could make his debut against Wolves in the league opener.
Erik ten Hag is prepared to stay patient with the young striker, and does not plan to start him from the off to avoid unwanted pressure.
Marcus Rashford could be tasked to lead the line in the curtain raiser. Hojlund could feature off the bench in his debut for the club.
