Serie A giants Inter Milan are focused on signing Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun after missing out on Gianluca Scamacca.
The Nerazzurri were recently in advanced talks with West Ham United for the Italy international, but the deal was hijacked by Atalanta.
Atalanta were prepared to offer more funds up front for the striker, and they are expected to land his services in the coming hours.
Inter have now turned their attention towards Balogun, but a deal won't be easy to pull off due to the demands of the Gunners.
The Nerazzurri are currently willing to pay around €40m for the USA striker, but the Gunners are holding out for €55m.
The north London giants are reluctant to lower their demands at present, and the onus is on Inter to improve their verbal offer.
Balogun is said to be desperate to join the San Siro giants, and he has reportedly urged the Gunners to lower their asking price for him.
