Chelsea are interested in landing the signature of Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun before the transfer deadline.
The Blues recently suffered a huge setback with Christopher Nkunku suffering a serious knee injury.
The Frenchman is out until the New Year at least and the Blues are determined to fill the void left.
Balogun was linked with the club earlier this year and Sky Sports claim that they have revived their pursuit.
Arsenal have set an asking price of £50 million for their graduate and they have been firm on the valuation.
With the Blues entering the race, they are likely to demand much more for the 22-year-old before the deadline.
Balogun still has two years left on his contract and the Gunners remain confident of receiving a good sum.
Monaco and Fulham are also interested in the young marksman, who netted 22 goals on loan for Reims last term.
Balogun is currently out of contention for Arsenal's games with the club having a clear mindset to sell him.
