Chelsea have reportedly joined Manchester City in the race to sign Belgium international Jeremy Doku this summer.
The west London giants were recently interested in a deal for Michael Olise, but he ended up signing a new contract with Crystal Palace.
As a result, they are looking at multiple options in the transfer market and reports claim that Doku is one of the players on their radar.
City have already agreed personal terms for the Rennes ace, but are yet to meet the asking price of €60 million set by the French side.
Chelsea have the opportunity to beat Pep Guardiola's side to his services for Doku, who has the potential to become an elite winger in future.
The Belgian has to work on his finishing, but he is currently one of the quickest wingers in Europe with tremendous dribbling ability.
He would be a quality option to provide competition in the wide attacking department. He prefers to operate from the right side of the attack.
